ITEX/ BBE Raleigh Deck Gallery.

We have designed and built countless decks on BBE and ITEX. We can do a simple platform deck, or something more complex like an octagon. We always get a building permit before we start any deck project. We can custom design bench seating, build a trap door for your dog, or even a storage container, and flower pots. We have done countless projects in the Triangle area. We have been doing construction for about 10 years now. We know how to do screened porches and patios as well. Our decks always are constructed with the highest quality lumber, the finest craftsmanship, and reasonable amount of time. This deck in the photograph below highlights our visions. The upper level deck is reinforced and has a hot tub on top with a roof between the upper deck level and the lower level deck. The lower level deck is actually three platforms in tiers, with the first tier tiled, and bench seating as railings. Nothing beats watching the stars at night in your hot tub on your upper level deck in the middle of winter. The cost for the deck above is about $20,000 and was done over the span of a few years. It was completed in stages, because it is our deck at our house.

Hiring someone that knows and follows building codes is essential to the safety of your structure. I have seen it all when it comes to deck construction and believe me, not all decks are designed equal. I have witnessed decks that were on the verge of collapse because the contractor probably didn't even create a 'plan' before building. If your 'plan' is to circumvent the system and not get a building permit, you are going to find yourself having many more problems down the road when you go to sell your house and it is discovered that your deck was never approved, nor is it up to code.
